Tips for a Healthy Hair

We buy  all sorts of products to have that Hollywood movie perfect hair, but have you ever stop to think that some things that do damage our hair are things we do on regular basis and never even realize it? Here is a little list of thing we normally do that can damage our beloved hair.

Picking at Your Split Ends
News flash: It can create even more split ends (and we think you might be going cross-eyed trying to find them).

Compulsive TwirlingNervous ticks are hard to break. But don’t let that affect your ends. Find something else (pen flipping?) to keep your hands occupied.

Avoiding HaircutsIf you want your hair to grow faster and look healthier, keep it trimmed.

Brushing Too MuchContrary to popular belief (and Marcia Brady), 100 brush strokes a night is actually pretty terrible for your mane. It breaks and pulls out unnecessary amounts of hair. Just a few strokes to untangle will do.

Wearing a Ponytail or Topknot Seven Days a WeekConstant pressure to the same place in your hair shaft can weaken it over time and, believe it or not, stunt growth.

Sleeping in Either of ThoseFull disclosure: This is our personal weakness--and also why we’re crying to our stylist.

Rubbing Your Wet Hair with a TowelA recipe for frizz. Post-shower hair should be gently squeezed with a towel--not wrung out.

Brushing Hair While WetWide-tooth combs--used gently--only.

Combining Hair Spray and Your Hot IronThe alcohol in most hair sprays burns when it comes into contact with heat. Apply a thermal protector before hot ironing and then fire the hair spray only afterward.

Setting the Heat Too HighFYI: A safe range for your flat iron is between 250 to 300 degrees (which is generally the low or medium setting). Curly-haired ladies: Patience, not higher heat, pays off.

Channing Tatum for Vanity Fair

This month Vanity Fair's cover featuring the gorgeous Channing Tatum have some fun pictures of our beloved Magic Mike. The photoshoot has an air of singing in the rain, and even that it looks like the intention was to have sober images more for the classic way then to the sexy way of Tatum, he still looks hot.

As a bonus Vanity Fair release this cute video of Channing Tatum dancing, and it will simply make you smile.

Summer Looks: Denim Shorts

Looking for inspiration for summer looks wearing denim shorts? Here is some of my favorites lately.

Sassy Lipbalm

Looking around I found this campaign images for the new Laura Mercier Lip Parfait Creamy Colourbalm. It promises to keep a hydrated lip like a lipbalm and at the same time add color and some shine like a gloss (but without the stickness). The color looks so vivid it made me wanna try it out, if I do, I'll let you guys know what I think about it, but from the images, it promises a lot.

Genious DIY To Try Out

I don't know about you guys but I am big on DIY stuff. It's cheap, fun and creative. Awesome way to relax (cheaper then therapy). Here I separated 6 DIY that I am dying to try out this summer, they don't look hard and looks like fun. What do you guys think?

Bottle Lamp - Turn a glass bottle into this modern-looking lamp with these steps.

Homemade Scented Stick Diffuser - Using materials you usually would throw away in your kitchen, you can create this simple and delicious scented stick diffuser. Check it out here how to make it.

Map Photo Frame - Stick a map on a photo frame with a flat surface. You can even opt to just cover the photo mat on the inside of a simple frame.

Coffee Grounds Candle - Use old coffee grands and the ends of old candles to create this awesome coffee candle.

Hanging Plastic Bottle Planter - Here's a great up-cycling idea for plastic bottles — hanging planters!

Mason Jar Pen Holders - Spray-paint a mason jar, and it'll be a colorful addition to your desk as a pen holder.

Summer Party

Every year Serpentine Gallery in London host a summer party, always with a really interesting set of famous guests, and this year it was not different. At the red carpet yesterday they had the presence of Suki Waterhouse wearing a Valentino from this summer runaway, very delicate and feminine.

Since the host was Christopher Kane, Poppy Delevingne, Naomie Harris and Lara Stone decided to wear his creations. Karlie Kloss showoff a classy beautiful red dress, and Kate Hudson was wearing her beautiful Louis Vuitton.
